Do You Need Help?

Here you will find answers to the questions we are most often asked about products, orders, deliveries, and much more

What precautions should be taken with watches?
Are the watches waterproof?

"Waterproof" means only that the watch is watertight. If you want to do an activity where the watch will be exposed to higher pressures (for example, diving, skydiving, mountaineering, skiing), you should use a watch designed for that purpose and identified as such in the water resistance categories.

What does water resistance mean?

“Water resistance” refers to the watch’s ability to withstand certain water pressures in a laboratory setting.
To ensure your watch is not damaged during activities where you might be exposed to higher pressures, you should always check your watch’s water resistance rating. If your watch can handle the pressures of that activity, make sure the crown is fully closed and avoid using the crown or buttons.
Even water-resistant watches can be damaged by hot water or saltwater, as this contact can harm the seals. These seals can also wear out depending on use, so they should be replaced regularly to keep the watch watertight.
If condensation appears on your watch’s dial, you should contact us immediately at info@onewatchcompany.com or visit an authorized retailer.

How is the size of a watch measured?

The size of the watch is measured by the diameter of the case as shown in the image below.

My watch is running slow/fast. What does that mean?

In quartz movement watches, the normal deviation is about plus or minus 15 seconds per month. If the watch is exposed to strong magnetic fields (for example, a magnet), the mechanism may stop briefly, which can appear as a delay.

The second hand on my watch seems to move irregularly. What does that mean?
Are the watches protected against drops or impacts?

Since it is a delicate object, a watch can withstand small drops, but any larger fall or impact can damage it and affect its functioning.
