Sunglasses Care Guide

Discover how to choose, use, clean, and care for your ONE sunglasses. In this guide, you’ll find information about lens categories, frame care, usage limitations, and warranty conditions, so you can preserve your sunglasses’ comfort, optical quality, and appearance for longer.

Important: the tint and category of the lenses may vary depending on the model. Always check the label or the information on the temple of your sunglasses to confirm the specific category.

Sun protection and lens categories

Learn how to identify the lens category and understand the light levels your glasses were designed for.

How can I identify the lens category?

Look for the marking consisting of the letter C followed by a number, for example C2 or C3. This information may appear on the label or in the last characters inscribed on the arm of the glasses, next to the model code.

The number does not indicate a quality rating. It indicates the filter category and the amount of visible light absorbed by the lenses. Therefore, a higher category is not necessarily better for every situation: it should be chosen according to the brightness of the surroundings.

Cleaning and maintenance

Proper cleaning helps preserve the lenses’ transparency, finish, and optical quality while preventing scratches and residue buildup.

Regular cleaning

Before cleaning your glasses, make sure there are no particles of dust, sand, or other debris on the lenses. If there are, first rinse them carefully with water, avoiding dragging these particles across the surface.

For regular cleaning, use the microfiber cloth that comes with the glasses. Gently wipe both sides of the lenses without applying excessive pressure.

Usage and Safety Limitations
